Realme 8 4g comes with plastic back with Matt finish with ugly dear to leap Branding and weight of the phone is about 177 grams
And realme 8 5g also with plastic back but surprise there is no dear to leap Branding and I like that and weightage of the phone is about 187 grams

Realme 8 4 g comes with a 6.4 inch 60 hz super amoled display with 180 hz of touch sampling rate and to be honest display quality is very impressed and very bright and you don't need to tension brightness in daylight
In 5g varient of realme 8 it's a drawback I think cause it's a 6.5 inch 90 hz IPS LCD display with 180 hz touch sampling rate I think 60 hz amoled are always better than 90 hz IPS LCD
Processor
Realme 8 4g comes with mediatek G
95 and 5 g comes with mediatek 700 both are very good mid range processor but you will be able to do high 60 fps gaming in 4g varient but in 5g it is not available I don't think so why cause mediatek 700 is a capable proccessor
Camera
Realme 8 4g comes with 64 megapixel quad camera 64 main 8 mp ultra wide and two two megapixel waste camera and in
5g there realme is very disgusting they removed 8 mp ultra wide camera they add 48 main and 2 useless depth and macro
If you want to buy a camera phone then this two is not the right choice you can buy redmi note 10 pro max or samsung galaxy F62
Battery
Realme 8 4g has massive 5000 mah battery and 30 watt fast charger and complete charging time is 65 to 70 min
In 5g it also come with 5000 mah battery but it's come with only 18 watt charger
I only ask Realme why 18 watt for this
Os and ui
Both phone comes with realme ui 2.0 android 11 out of the box
Call recording
You will be able to do call recording in both phone but they came with Google dialer the recorder is very honest and tell the person is that you are call recording
My thoughts on both the phone
The price of both phone Start with 15000
And if I have to chose one I will choosen Realme 8 4 g cause
60 hz amoled > 90 hz IPS LCD
Ultra wide camera > no ultra wide
30 Watt > 18 watt
And if you think realme 8 5g is future proof then you are kid first of all it will take 2 to 3 year maximum for 5g in india and there is covid also
